24/7 Christian Church began as a campus ministry called United Christian Fellowship, initiated by our head pastor Tim DeGroot, with the help of many of 24/7′s current staff.  UCF shortly changed its name to 24/7 Christian Ministries and teamed up with The Ridge, a church in northwest Greensboro, as they continued to solidify their presence on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  From the time UCF began, Tim felt God telling him that he would one day pastor a church that would, by the power of God, change people’s lives and in some way affect every city of the world.  As many of the original leaders of UCF graduated from UNCG and began thinking about going their separate ways, that day came, and 24/7 Christian Ministries became 24/7 Christian Church.  We are currently in a transition period of turning a college ministry into a church, with the help of other experienced church planters and leaders, as we work towards our official launch date, prayerfully set in September 2011.
